OUR MISSION:

As a proud and a very culturally aware people of the Grassfield region of the Cameroons, our mission is very simple. To help in the collaborative engagement with members of our community to chart paths that would benefit our families back home. Ngemba Atlanta seeks to promote the Ngerhmba culture through social interaction with other communities here in the diaspora to help channel resources back home where it is most needed. We cherish the land we came from and would work in tandem with organizations and civil society anywhere in the world to be the beacon of hope and the transmission of prosperity to our people. From the hinterlands and rolling hills surrounding our beautiful people, we see our organization as the titans of hope and fidelity. We would develop through fraternal partnerships to ameliorate the suffering of our people. We would not leave solutions we can champion to children of tomorrow. Ngemba Atlanta is on the right trajectory and would never leave another Ngerhmban behind.

ABOUT US:

Ngerhmba is a very close nit group of people predominantly of the Grassfield region of the Cameroons. Our linguistic heritage though from the same ancestral lineage, is slightly different when the spoken word comes out from the mouth of a Ngerhmban. The style and intonation would always be the main difference, but we do understand one another. Just like the British, Welsh, and Scots who speak English with some guided accentuation, Ngerhmbans from within two different villages would have a difference in intonation when they speak. But they absolutely understand one another.

PROJECTS:

Ngemba Atlanta will partner with people and organizations of goodwill to bring germ free drinking water to its people. It can be done through the goodwill of man. We are embarking on a very ambitious drinking water drilling for all major villages that are representative of our organization. We promise to drill at least two water sources every year; and if resources do permit, we would do more. We also plan on seeking donations for school and health centers within our community to help alleviate the pain of our people. We plan on educating our Ngerhmba community on a winning and forward looking curricular for tomorrow’s challenges.
