As the current President of the Ngemba Cultural Association Inc., Aneneba Akufor hails from Santa Akum, where he attended the Roman Catholic Mission School “RCM” the bedrock of his educational foundation. He is now the holder of a double Masters Degree in Law; from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis, with emphasis on International Human Rights Law, Health, and Public Policy Law; and also from Georgia State University, College of Law in Atlanta, GA. He also holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Yaoundé in The Republic of Cameroun. He credits his love for the Ngemba Community from the upbringing of his parents and . . .
especially how his father hosted the Manjong (a gathering of likeminded people) meetings every fortnight at their family compound. That instilled in him the spirit of communal gatherings and love of culture. The rich culture of our people is a very inspiring force beyond its borders. From our Atogho traditional outfit to the staple dishes of Achu, Fufu and Vegetables, we find our culture at the crossroads of an ever-burgeoning civilization in the region. The president is married to his beautiful wife Grace, who is also from Santa Akum, and together they are blessed with four wonderful children. The president is a licensed Attorney and Counselor at Law in the great state of New York here in the United States. He lives in outskirts of the Atlanta metropolitan area, in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
